As a proud fifth-generation Texan, my roots run deep in the heart of House District 120, a vibrant and diverse community that my family and I are blessed to call home. Raised by my grandmother in New Braunfels, I was instilled early on with the values of compassion, resilience, and service to others, principles that have guided me throughout my life and continue to shape my vision for public leadership.

At just 14, I found my passion for community service, driven by a desire to give back to the neighborhoods that shaped who I am today. From volunteering with local nonprofits to supporting small businesses and mentoring youth, I’ve spent my life working to strengthen the connections that bind our community together.
About bently
I’m running for State Representative in District 120 to honor the legacy of those who came before us, families like mine who poured their hearts into building this region. I believe the best way to protect their legacy is to fight for a future where every resident—no matter their background, has the opportunity to thrive.

This campaign is about more than politics; it’s about people. It’s about ensuring that our schools are strong, our neighborhoods are safe, and our economy works for everyone. I believe in a Texas where progress doesn’t leave anyone behind, where our values are reflected in policy, and where the voice of every community is heard loud and clear at the State Capitol in Austin.

My commitment to district 120 is rooted in deep gratitude, and a promise to lead with integrity, transparency, and heart. Together, we can build a future that honors our past, meets the challenges of today, and creates real opportunity for tomorrow.

a Vision for Progress
- Real Action, Not Silence
For nearly a decade, our district has had a representative who refuses to take tough votes, stays silent when corporate conflicts arise, and avoids accountability. That ends with me. I will show up, speak out, and vote on every bill that comes across the floor. Whether it’s protecting renters, defending our schools, or expanding access to healthcare, you will always know where I stand — with the people, never with corporations.

- Solutions on Day One
I’m not waiting to figure out what needs to be done. I already have legislation written and ready to file on the first day of the session. My bills will:
- Expand rental, utility, and food assistance programs by using the state’s massive surplus to create a safety net strong enough to catch families before they fall.
- Reform our schools by moving beyond the failed standardized testing playbook and building curriculum around collaboration, compassion, and emotional intelligence.
- Launch a full-scale overhaul of our broken mental healthcare system by investing in better pay and benefits for providers, adopting research-based best practices, and ensuring patients have immediate access to medication and treatment. These solutions aren’t pie-in-the-sky ideas — they’re practical, written, and ready to be introduced.

- People Over Power
My opponent built her career by suing challengers off the ballot, protecting charter school interests, and taking corporate money. I will do the opposite. I’ll protect the right of voters to choose their leaders, reject corporate influence, and put every ounce of my energy into building policy that directly improves people’s lives. My loyalty is not for sale — it belongs to the families, workers, and communities of this district.

Together, we can break from politics-as-usual and finally have a representative who fights for us with honesty, courage, and urgency.
